Jahrzehntelanger, unerbittlicher Wind von der Tasmansee hat diese Bäume tief gebeugt und ihre Kronen wie erstarrte Segel geformt.

Diese Baumgruppe ist vom Wind gebeugt, der fast immer aus derselben Richtung weht. In der Nähe des Puponga Farm Hill Track auf dem Weg nach Wharariki Beach. Aufgenommen in einer bewölkten, aber überraschend windstillen Nacht im Februar 2025.
