Jahrzehntelanger, unerbittlicher Wind von der Tasmansee hat diese Bäume tief gebeugt und ihre Kronen wie erstarrte Segel geformt. 

Diese Baumgruppe ist vom Wind gebeugt, der beständig aus derselben Richtung weht. Irgendwo nahe des Eingangs des Puponga Farm Track auf dem Weg nach Wharariki Beach. Aufgenommen in einer windigen Nacht im Februar 2026, unter dem Schimmer einer Aurora Australis.
